Join Our Team as a Mortgage Loan Processor!
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to join our fast-paced, dynamic team. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in mortgage processing, a proactive mindset, and a history of delivering solutions within the lending industry.
$45,000 - $55,000 Salary + Commission
Responsibilities:
• Decide the creditworthiness and complete the mortgage loan application by working with the borrower to obtain necessary and verified financial documentation, such as credit reports
• Ensure loan files meet lending and regulatory guidelines and policies
• Prepare and submit detailed loan packages to the lender underwriting department for approval or denial
• Maintain detailed documentation of the process in our system - from origination to close
• Obtain property documentation to process mortgage loan files, including appraisals, inspections, title searches, site surveys, contracts, and property tax records
• Serve as a liaison between borrowers, mortgage brokers and loan officers, real estate agents, and mortgage lending underwriters to support loan approval
Qualifications:
• Must possess exceptional attention to detail, as well as strong analytical and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a requirement
• 1 year of previous experience as a Processor in a broker model is required, or
• 2 years of experience working as an Underwriter and/or Client Care Specialist
• Previous experience navigating the UWM portal is preferred • Previous experience managing a pipeline through Salesforce is preferred • Excellent communication and customer service skills - MUST be comfortable on the phone
